His putrid start to the season has held the Yankees offense back. A team might be able to withstand one or two replacement-level hitters in a lineup, but three is asking a bit much. A few more home runs from him would make a world of difference in this category, and (possibly) have an effect on the rest of the lineup as pitchers would have to fear Cano as well. Posada's injury is also a problem, as he would likely be in double digits around now as well. And agreed about Bonds. But it looks like it's not going to happen. Sigh.
